Shaghig Agopian

Shaghig Agopian joined Buty & Curliano in 2019. She focuses her practice on toxic tort and product liability. Ms. Agopian developed her litigation skills and trial experience at several large well-respected defense firms. She has acted as trial counsel for cases pending in Southern California with over 45 cases commencing trial and four cases tried to verdict. She has experience in managing the Los Angeles office of a San Francisco based law firm where she has defended high profile corporate clients. She has taken hundreds of plaintiff and co-worker depositions in the context of asbestos litigation. She has also cross-examined plaintiffs and co-workers at trial. She has prepared and defended the depositions of corporate clients, including Persons Most Qualified and former employees. She has taken and defended hundreds of expert witness depositions and cross-examined experts at trial. She has also worked closely with retained experts and consultants in preparing a trial defense strategy.
